What's Included

8 Week Health Coaching Program: 8 week comprehensive health program designed by myself, Dr. Kayla Springer, ND. Each weekly session takes place via Zoom for a duration of 1.5 hrs, where we cover one foundational health topic in a small group setting. Lectures will be half lecture, half discussion and practical exercises. Sessions will be recorded for those not able to make it.

Support & Accountability: Access to our Private Whatsapp Group, where you will find a kind and compassionate community and your accountability partners. Moderated by myself, who will provide feedback to let you know when you are on the right track.

Weekly Q&A and Support Calls: Each week after the lecture, we have the option to stay and connect as a community. This is a natural extension of our meetings, and is an open forum for us to chat!

Reference and Follow up: Access to a comprehensive library of references and resources. We go through a lot of information in this course. No need to digest it all at once. You'll be able to download from a library of resources including tons of content - everything covered in the course.

1 Digestion and the Gut

We'll talk about the process of digestion, how to optimize your nutrients, the importance of the microbiome, what leaky gut is, how to target specific gut issues, and why gut health is so important in our modern world.

The body is well designed to deal with toxic insults, but the sheer volume of our exposure now, combined with poor diet and lifestyle can lead to an overburdened body and under functioning detoxification processes. We'll learn how the body detoxes, what it means and how to tell when it goes out of sync or needs support, how to optimize our body's innate detox pathways, what is biofilm and why it matters, and how to detox the body in a safe, relevant, and effective way.

6 Hormone Harmony

Women: In modern society, womanhood has been somewhat suppressed. Many of us are not in touch with our cycles, hormones, or menstruation. The menstrual cycle is a beautiful concoction of hormones and fluctuations that, when nurtured, allows for us to spend time honoring our precious bodies. Caring for our bodies during our cycle can sometimes feel overwhelming or confusing as many of us have never been taught what's actually going on. 

 

Men: Men's hormonal health is even less talked about in our society, but it's no less important. 

 

 

This module gets into the nitty gritty of the major hormonal players in the body - in both men and women, and how to balance. The second half of the lecture will focus exclusively on womens stuff, and men are encouraged to learn!

The immune system has been at the forefront of our attention this year. Let's talk about how to optimize it, what happens when it goes out of balance, and how it actually works. We'll discuss cold and flus, autoimmune, and allergies.

Achieving truly healthy skin isn’t as simple as buying fancy creams and committing to invasive procedures. Skin conditions are multifactorial, and the root cause is not always easily identifiable. There are always multiple things to consider, and often many layers to get through when treating skin conditions.

Is this medical advice?


Even though I am a doctor, my role in this program is a coach. I won't be doing an individual assessment on you, and such nothing I talk about should be considered medical advice. This course is meant to be educational only, as I strongly believe you have the power to implement big changes with the power of community. That being said, you should always be under the care of a doctor in your region.




How does it work?

This course is designed to give you the tools to make your own empowered choices when it comes to your health.

Will this cure my medical condition?


Each person is unique, and if you are currently dealing with an underlying medical condition, your treatment will be unique. This course is designed to give you the knowledge and empowerment to implement the foundational health changes that are key in any health condition. That being said, this is not medical advice and any personalized treatment will require a much more individualized and in depth approach. Please work with a doctor in your area, ask me for recommendations, or become a patient after graduating the program!




How do I actually implement changes?


During the group intake welcome meeting, we will go through and put together the pieces of our health puzzle. We will set an intention and health goal to work towards together, and we will hold eachother up to implement the changes required to make that goal happen. You will be provided with all the opportunity and knowledge you need to build strong foundations of health.
